Scripting Support

Scripts are used to create dynamic online environments. Here, you will get information you need to install scripts on your web space.




CGI Scripts

Upload any CGI scripts that you intend to run on your website to the cgi-bin directory. Ensure you are aware of the relevant permissions that must be applied to the executable and writable scripts, which are generally detailed in the readme or installation files accompanying any public domain scripts.

PHP Scripts

PHP Scripts can be uploaded and run from any directory. As in the installation of any scripts, ensure that you are aware of the relevant permissions that must be applied to the executable and writable scripts.
PHP scripts are all run in safe-mode. For your protection, safe-mode will not be turned off for any users whose website is hosted on Hosture.
